A shocking tomato red opaque panel extended through a glass wall from the interior of an elevator lobby to the exterior courtyard of Seattle's new (2003) City Hall, filtering morning light and separating the entrance area from the inviting splashing fountains in the courtyard on a bright, hot summer day. This was taken a few steps from yesterday's photo, but looking down and to the south this time.
