Pictured here is a detail of Paul Sorey's Salmon Waves sculpture installation at the Ballard (Hiram Chittenden) Locks above the fish ladder viewing area. There are seven stainless steel "waves" and they contain special LED lights that at night display migrating salmon in blue light swimming in the air around the waves (to see this amazing effect, click on the link above).
