If you look closely or click on this photo to enlarge it you will see a salmon jumping just ahead of the bow. Perhaps it has been cavorting with dolphins and wants to imitate them. This beautiful 1922 wooden boat might be heading for the Center for Wooden Boats at the south end of Lake Union (a great place to rent a sailboat, BTW). For a detailed history of this classic vessle, its incredible features and more complete view of her from the starboard side while on the low end of the locks click on More Seattle Stuff.
