The Rexville Grocery is a friendly place to stop during a day trip north of Seattle to the Skagit Valley. They make a great espresso and there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which to enjoy it. Oh, and you can pick up wine, cheese, and a fresh baguette and get gas, too (but read the sign on the pump carefully). This is very near the winding Skagit River in the heart of the farmlands of Mount Vernon. Bicycle touring is popular in the area, and you can see some riders are stopping for a fresh deli lunch.
